My dentist keeps on trying to sell me “teeth whitening” and has quoted a ‘special offer’ price of £299. While I am thinking about it, I have spotted a tooth whitening booth in Hammersmith Bus Station offering an apparently identical service for only £99! First, how come the extreme price discrepancy. Second, am I mad or am I mental? The latter is only one-third of a supposedly ‘special offer’ price!
